How to Solve Overheat Issue on Compaq CQ20 Laptop
Yesterday I just visit to my friend’s internet cafe. In there, He complaint about his laptop that overheat issue on the hard drive bay and suddenly the laptop turn off itself due to overheating protection mechanism. Overheating is usual thing happen on laptop but would be unusual when you face it after do several cleaning activity on ventilation of fan. Compaq CQ20 is good laptop with 13 inch screen but to solve the overheat issue, we need do deep cleaning activity inside the laptop. One of my hotspot client has problem on the LAN connection. This happen when I setup her PC to connected to JAHT WP-4001BR 54Mbps Wireless Bridge AP. The IP, Subnet and other parameter of networking not appear on the LAN properties when do manual configuration or assign by DHCP server. Upgrade Ubuntu Intrepid to Jaunty on Compaq Presario CQ40
Jaunty has been install completely on my laptop. The way how to upgrade already post on the previous posting, do upgrade by dist-upgrade method. When I do upgrade directly through Internet, need one thousand files to be download then installed on the laptop. I need one night to download all package which needed by Jaunty.
