Google Working on Android TV

Google are apparently working with Sony and Intel to develop a Google TV platform to put the Web on the family room.

Google calls the television that has developed a new generation of television that allows an Internet connection on it. So that viewers can access the Internet through television.

This cooperation will allow viewers to access video content from Web sites to share pictures and surf social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.

The aim was quoted by the Telegraph on Friday (19/3/2010) is to facilitate easy access to change web channel viewers.

While some TV makers like Samsung to sell TV with Internet access, Internet access is limited to widgets such as weather reports, Skype or news headlines.

Unfortunately, so far, none of the three companies mentioned in the last collaboration of public comment about these rumors.

The suspicion grew when Intel made the announcement seeking a Senior Applications Engineer with experience in the Android platform. Intel also requires that candidates are qualified to bring Intel to make changes in computer display technology in mobile device screen and television.

Google was mentioned to test this TV with the second satellite television provider in the U. S. is called Dish Network. The news that circulated just mentioned, Google’s attempt to create a new set of tools based on Android that the role of broadcasting and online video services.
