LAN Problem On Acer Aspire 2920
Today, I’ve just receive call from the client. The client could not connect to Internet since last Saturday with his laptop. I promise to come to check the problem on the evening after office hours. Yes, I could support our client that time since I’m still working in semiconductor company.
Come to his house and check the network inside. He connect to the Internet through JAHT wireless radio that configure as client infrastructure. The JAHT wireless radio condition still good and need to check to the Acer Aspire 2920z which use by him everyday. The suspect is now on the Acer Aspirer 2920 LAN connection itself. Check manual and verify with the Notebook Compaq Presario CQ40 found the Compaq presario could connect to the network and browse the Internet but not for the Acer Aspire 2920z.
From here, We have problem on the LAN port of Acer Aspire 2920z. As far as I know, on the last Saturday we’ve got heavy rain with storm. Might be the storm has been ‘kill’ the LAN port of Acer Aspire 2920z but this happen should be goes to the JAHT wireless radio first since the JAHT wireless radio put on the roof of home.
Bad luck and need go to service repair. Hope they could fix it and my client could connect again to Internet with the Acer Aspire 2920z.
