Unfortunately Sony Xperia S experience yellow display issue. It is already confirmed by Sony but it just happens to a small number of the phone. The main problem is when the phone gets the temperature above 40 degrees Celsius. At that temperature, the display inherits a yellow tint. So, if you always use your Xperia S for browsing the web or playing the movies, let’s check your phone and hopefully your phone doesn’t have yellow display issue.
Until now Sony has not given any details on how to rectify the yellow display issue. They just suggest to contact local Sony service center to get advice from them than hopefully Sony will replace your Xperia S with a new one.
Even the yellow display issue comes to the Xperia S, many reviewers give the positive review to the phone. Sony Xperia S runs with dual core 1.5Ghz Qualcomm processor, a 4.3 inch display, and 12.1 Mega pixels of camera entering the phone to next step of Sony as the leading Android phone manufacturer. Also the phone is the first solo production by Sony since they separated from Ericsson.
The yellow display issue is not a big problem but you must aware about this issue since it happens when you use often the phone for web browsing and playing videos. If you always use your Xperia S for both activities, make sure your phone is still valid warranty claim to facilitate the replacement of your phone in case of yellow display issue.
