Specification of New Apple iPhone Leaked Online
Specifications for the upcoming iPhone seems to have been leaked into the Internet. The new iPhone, expected next month, will be 16 GB and 32 GB in size, doubling the current storage, and double the processor speed and RAM.
The camera is being upgraded from the current 2-megapixel to 3.2-megapixel, according to the specifications AppleiPhoneApps on the blog, which cites sources close to the hardware development team.
Battery life has been extended by 50 percent, a new OLED screen will replaces the standard LCD.
Apple keep the price the same for both models, $ 199 and $ 299, which is consistent with previous practice.
The design is also changing, according to the blog. The metal band going around the unit and the back of the phone is stuck with a shiny Apple logo.
Other enhancements include the ability to record and edit the video, a digital compass and a new service tied to Google Maps for the GPS device.

Apple never comments on rumors of new products, but the details are similar to those published in a Chinese forum, earlier this year.

Good improvements. I’m glad they are keeping the same pricing scheme for the increased storage and all. The digital compass does not sound like much but could be extremely useful for people.
