Winbox Freeze With Wine on Ubuntu 8.04
I have bad experience when using winbox on my Ubuntu 8.04. Winbox is windows application which could running on on Linux with help from wine. But when I want to remote my Mikrotik server my winbox freeze and not respond to any click on the winbox window. This happen only if I use wireless connection to the Mikrotik server but if use wire connection, everything goes well. How to Setting JAHT WP-4001BR as Access Point
JAHT WP-4001BR merupakan sebuah wireless router yang cukup tangguh dalam menjalankan tugasnya baik sebagai Access Point (AP) maupun sebagai Client (Station). Sudah hampir setahun saya menggunakan JAHT WP-4001BR di salah satu klien RT/RW-Net dan selama itu pula tidak ada keluhan sama sekali dari klien terhadap performancenya. Setting Mikrotik Dan Ubuntu Squid Server
Kali ini saya akan memberikan sedikit tips untuk menggunakan proxy server terpisah dari mikrotik. Walaupun kita tahu di mikrotik sendiri disediakan proxy server, tetapi untuk menangani klien berjumlah banyak dan agresif dalam pemakaian internetnya perlu disediakan tersendiri proxy server. Kali ini mikrotik yang saya gunakan adalah mikrotik 2.9.27 dan ubuntu server 8.04 yang hanya terinstall squid proxy server. Untuk bagaimana cara install mikrotik dan ubuntu server tidak dibahas disini.
