The Source Code Android 4.0 ICS out now

This is great news for any Android lovers because the source code Android 4.0 ICS out now for public. The code is pushing out by Google to the server to ensure anyone who interesting with Android has same chance to cooking up the code in to other Android devices.

The code is specifically designed for Samsung Galaxy Nexus as the first Android smartphone that runs the latest Google Android OS, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The Galaxy Nexus is the Android’s standard phone that purely uses the Android’s code without custom User Interface like what manufacturer did to their Android smartphones.

So the source code Android 4.0 ICS is applicable also to other Android devices along the minimum hardware specifications have been met. Than refer to Google if the Google Nexus S will receive an update to Android 4.0 ICS soon and all Android devices run Android 2.3 Gingerbread also able to update to ICS.

Well, this is good news since we can update the existing Android phone with Android gingerbread to Android ICS even lack of some interesting features such as NFC technology. Of course, Android 4.0 ICS will support the latest mobile technology.

update for Xperia X10 to Android ICS

Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is designed to run on both Android smartphones and tablets. This is unity Android version after separate since appearance Android 2.3 Gingerbread for smartphone and Android 3.0 Honeycomb for tablets. From now, we just have one Android OS for any smartphones and tablets.

Well, one thins that I hope will available soon is an update for Xperia X10 Android smartphone from Sony Ericsson, or we called as Sony. Or somebody out there will release custom ROM for Xperia X10 to run Android ICS like what CyanogenMod to run its ROM in to Xperia family phone.
