The HP Mini 1000 Netbook using Intel’s Atom processor 1.6Ghz, 8GB or 16GB SSD and up to 2GB RAM plus USB port, webcam, Bluetooth and keyboard that 92% the size of regular laptop. The display is 10.2 inch, under 2,5 pounds and on this coming January the HP Mini 1000 will built in with Ubuntu Linux.

I just looked at one on HP’s website and the thing looks amazing! It appears to have most of the specs as their standard line.
Unfortunately, HP have recently stated that they will not ship their netbooks with Linux in future (I wager this will change with demand). But they still have a downloadable version of Ubuntu optimised for netbooks. It’s available at HP’s site.
