Upgrade Xperia Android Smartphones to Android ICS
Wow it’s great when I read the SE Blog that confirmed if Sony starts to work to upgrade Xperia Android smartphones to the next version of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
But sad to say because Xperia X10 Android smartphones exclude from the update planning. The company is just working to upgrade the entire 2011 Xperia Android smartphones while X10 released at 2010. Sony plans to merge current Xperia experience with the new features in Android 4.0 ICS.
It will interesting to wait how Sony present the new Xperia experience which related to the new features of Android 4.0 such as new user interface, improve keyboard, better voice recognition, system wide spell checking and many more. It would be great if the new features of Android 4.0 integrated with new Xperia experience on next upgrade Xperia Android smartphones.
Even Xperia X10 Android smartphones for now confirmed doesn’t get update to Android ICS, I hope the company changes their mind to include X10 like what they do when X10 upgrade to Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
Or if Sony decided to permanently unsupported X10 to update to Android 4.0, we should check the custom ROM which provided by third party Android software developer like CyanogenMod. Hopefully, on their latest project, CyanogenMod 9 will support Xperia X10 Android smartphone as one of the Android phones and tablets that supported by CM9.
Well, let’s see in next 2 months since the team plans to release the nightly release or release candidate before major update of CM9. Once the job is finish, let’s upgrade Xperia Android smartphones to Android ICS.

My HTC Wildfire phone doesn’t support this.still pulling my hair on how to upgrade to ICS
